| Introduction | Sean has PKD and has a donor!!! There are three lovely people that initally matched. However, a friend finished the testing and is a match. The kidney removal was done on November 20th. Transplant is scheduled December 29th. What lovely holiday gifts and a great way to ring in the new year! We continue to encourage organ donation. Please check the organ donation box on your driver's license. If you can afford to, contact your local hospital to find out about organ donation. This is the most selfless act I can think of and appreciate all those that got tested for Sean! Both Sean's brother and a blogger friend got transplant dates within 3 weeks of Sean's! How exciting!!! |
