| Introduction | I am a Quaker woman interested in spirituality. Like my friend Ken Magee, I prefer to call myself a Christ Follower, rather than the often misused term Christian, though I sometimes refer to myself as a pre-Constantine Christian. In saying that, however, I in no way assume that those of this tradition have a monopoly on the truth, or all the answers. I firmly believe in what we call Quaker SPICE – Simplicity, Peacemaking, Integrity, Community, and Equality. My Quaker tradition teaches me to “look for that of God in everyone,” and I would love to dialogue with any honest seekers from any tradition. I have done research in the last few months on church history – particularly the time of Constantine – Quaker history – John Woolman is my current hero – and feminine spirituality. On a personal note, I walked away from my job at Klamath County Library in February 2009 to pursue a lifelong dream of become a writer. Someday I hope to actually make money at it! |
| Interests | In the summer I garden, in the winter I crochet. I also love reading. |
