| Introduction | I am married to a wonderful man named Les. We have nine Rwandan children. We live in Kanombe Rwanda and have served the Lord in Rwanda since March 2006. Our offices are in Akindege Village. I love to write, preach, organize events, drama, cook and have fun with the kids. My husband Les is ordained and loves to teach. He is the administrator of our Bible School, Foundation Bible Institute. We work with about 30 different churches in the area we live, we have 2 homes for older orphans, one for boys and one for girls. This blog is for the work of A Voice For Rwanda. A more personal blog with my challenges as a cross cultural Mom, missionary, etc is mamamutoscorner@blogspot.com |
| Interests | A Voice For Rwanda was founded by Leslie David Parr and myself Yvonne Parr to be able to have the freedom of working with all churches in Rwanda and not just one denomination. The ministry of AVFR is relationship verses programs. This means all of our programs we continue in relationship. This has many challenges but i worth all the effort and heartache. |
| Favorite movies | I love movies that you can apply a life lesson. For me that is with a lot of movies. Movies make me see people in a different way. Charectors represent people I may or may not know, but it shows their pain struggles and desire for life and happiness. I love all kind of animal movies as well. I like movies that show one person can make a change in one persons life or many lives. Anne of Green Gables is a good one. Jesus of NAzereth, Jesus 2000, Short Circuit, Finding Nemo, to many more to mention. |
