Introduction	It was for my middle school sewing class project that I stepped into Joanne Fabrics for the first time. On the hunt for the perfect fabric for my bag project, I peered at and touched each reel of fabric with fascination. I was taken aback by the inherent beauty of the fabric and was immediately attracted to the vintage patterns from the 60s. From that moment forward, I knew I would one day work in fashion. Growing up in Pittsburgh, I was born and raised to bleed black and gold and my love for the Steelers and football was something that I would eventually bring with me from city to city. I went away to Kent, Ohio to receive my degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Merchandising and from there, followed my dreams straight to New York City to begin my career in fashion. After 4 years in the Big Apple, my heart has led me back to Pittsburgh where my love for fashion can exist a bit closer to my love for football. It is my hope that this blog will allow me to express my thoughts about fashion, my thoughts about football, and the gray areas where the two thoughts sometimes coincide.
