About me

Introduction	Hello students! As you may or may not know, I have been working with freshman English classes at Somerville High School since 2005 and I am constantly adding new and fun things to my classroom, my curriculum, and my blog. I do live in Somerville, so if you see me around town, try not to be embarrassed and just say "Hello!" When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, learning to play the piano, going to the ballet and jazz concerts, and learning how to do fun crafty projects. I also run the Literature and Art Magazine ("Visions") here at the school and I am always looking for new creative submissions. You can submit art work, black and white photos, or any creative written work. I like to have fun in my classes and think a sense of a humor is key to learning any new skills. As long as we all respect and support each other, I know that we will have a great year together. :)
