| Introduction | I started my IT career as an Application Developer… during my progress period (as Developer) I got attracted to database design and querying data from RDBMS. Fortunately, I got an opportunity to work on database driven project – makeover of my carrier – my interest and enthusiasm about RDBMS made me fall in love with Database Development. (Certainly the knowledge of application development & SDLC helps to understand requirements and acquire the appropriate way to develop.) I learned querying data on Oracle (7), and started my RDMBS carrier with SQL Server 2000. In my carrier progress I got opportunities to play various roles where I explore the areas of Database Development, Designing Relational Database Model, Implementing Security, Implementing Data Recovery Plans, Data Transformation, Reporting Solutions, Performance Optimization and much more…still I am in learning phase and have to explore various areas of this field… Currently I am performing a role of Development DBA (Database Design, Development & Performance Optimization)…moreover I am still a learner. |
