| Introduction | Wherever a central point is placed, a system is able to come to life. This central point is a symbolic space where a universe can be created. Nothing exists without a centre, whether it is an atom; our heart; the capital of a country; the sun in the solar system or a black hole in the core of a galaxy; if the centre's fundament is not stable the whole collapses. When systems are simplified, they start showing resemblances. The patterns of veins in a leaf resemble those of a human vein structure. I find it interesting that the structures of systems within the body resemble structures outside of our bodies. My work is a journey of discoveries of visual resemblances, an imaginary path to further paths of organic structures, natural forms, vegetative spores, scientific patterns and bodily systems in a development of growth, blossom and decline. |
