| Introduction | In 1995, Dr. Walden founded MOTE(Ministry On The Edge), a non-profit missions organization. MOTE has established, sustained and expanded evangelical programs in California, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. MOTE’s Christ-centered collaborative ministries within secular institutions are leading edge and models in the San Diego areas; Baja, Mexico regions; and in the nation of the Dominican Republic. Ministries include: Prison Ministres, Inner-city Ministries, After School Homework Club Programs, and Chaplaincy Programs. In addition to Dr Walden’s responsibilities as MOTE’s CEO, he is an adjunct professor at Bethel University & Seminary; an author and lecturer. In addition, he was the staff director of chaplaincy for PPH, Inc, California’s largest healthcare district, serving at the Pomerado Hospital in Poway, California for 15 years. Dr. Walden served as the RB/Poway Clergy Chairperson from 1998 to 2003 and is currently the co-chair. He is on the Board of Directors for the Safety Wellness Advocacy Coalition serving the RB/Poway communities; and a San Diego Sheriff Chaplain. He and his wife Sandee live in Dominican Republic and they have two children and six grandchildren. |
