| Introduction | I was born and raised in Philadelphia. Edwin was born in Gualaquiza, Ecuador and moved to the U.S. in 1990. Born "worlds" apart, destiny stepped in and we met. We married in 2002 and are still crazy in love. We believe, we are, soulmates. We have a truly amazing family. We are surrounded by love and support. Nanny and Papa are the most loving and nurturing parents anyone could dream about. Family is everything to both of us. After years of trying to have our family the conventional way, we realized that God had blessed us with infertility. And so our adoption journey began -- and a long, long journey it has been. We feel privileged to adopt our daughter from the People's Republic of China. The adoption process is taking so very long but we have never waivered from our committment to our baby waiting for us in China. We are committed heart and soul. Our future is in God's hands and we believe He will bring our family together at the perfect time. So, however long the process may take, we will keep the faith. Arabella Grace will someday be forever in our arms!!! |
