| Introduction | I have had five children.. two daughters and three sons [one of which...my late daughter [Jade], had profound mental and physical disabilities]...i also brought up two stepdaughters, during this time i completed my nurse training and continue to work as a trained nurse. My life is very full, my children have partners, one partner has a son, i have two granddaughters, new step children/stepgrandchildren, my previous stepdaughters and their children. I no longer have family at home and continue to nurse. My nursing career now spans almost 35 yrs. My husband Vin and myself are involved with work on the Somme/France where we go at least 3/4 times a year...usually extending our visits to Belguim and Ypres/Meningate. We have recently started to raise money for children and schools that we visit in The Gambia as well as being hands on. I have been with my present husband since 2001, we married on new years eve 2004. Our wedding took place in Jamaica, the photo above is taken after a church blessing during the reception on our return, two of the bridesmaids that you can see are Vins twin grandaughters Katie and Abbie. I also continue to study which i have always enjoyed. |

| Favorite music | Depends on my mood... where I am... if I am alone or in company. |
| Favorite books | Autobiographies, Factual or fiction based on fact, spiritual- ones written by Dr Brian Weiss amongst others, books connected to my travels and interests. A very wide range. Little Women was always my fave as a child. |
