Introduction	Inspired as a child by the book, "The Secret Garden", and Mary's plaintive request to have a "bit of earth", I've decided to blog about the events and beauty in the "bit of earth", I'm honored to experience first hand each day. I've always felt that God reveals himself to me through nature. Even as a child before I became a Christian, I could feel his majesty as I walked through the forest. I feel God teaching me through the weeds I pull, the trees, flowers and leaves I enjoy, the birds and various sized critters that I see, and the people He has placed in my life to share all of this beauty. I am blessed.
Interests	I enjoy gardening, bird watching, walks through the forest and on beaches, teaching, and every moment with my family.
