| Introduction | Dr Debojyoti Dhar, PhD (Indian Institute of Science, IISc) has over 15 years experience in academic and industry ‘research and development’ (R&D) activities along with strong multi domain knowledge in pharma and biotechnology industries. He has worked extensively on translational control of gene regulation during his PhD (Indian Institute of Science, IISc) and post doctoral research (UMass Medical School, USA). Dr Dhar has co-founded South Asia's first microbiome company, Leucine Rich Bio pvt ltd. He has held leadership positions in various companies with roles in R&D, Business Development, Corporate Communications and Consultancy and has thorough knowledge on new cutting edge technologies in the bio-science space. Dr Dhar has to his credit various publications in top-tiered peer reviewed journals and is also an active reviewer in many scientific journals.
