Introduction--<>--I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1971 but grew up in Oklahoma City (aka OKC). Also lived, (sometimes briefly) in; --<>-- Sapulpa, Chickisha, Broken Arrow (Tulsa), Bethany (Oklahoma City), Norman, Edmond, and last but not least, the very cool little city Muskogee, Oklahoma. --<>-- Left Oklahoma from Muskogee in 2001 and ended up here in Austin TX where I've lived for the last 23 years. --<>-- After my B.A. in Eng. Lit. and 2 years studying writing in the master's program at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK, I was headed for LA with dreams of writing screenplays, but there are a million dreams a minute dying all over the world. --<>--
Interests--<>-- Music, electronic music equipment, Movies, Books, Short Stories, Poetry, Art. --<>-- Even though I made it to the middle, I've never gotten around to finishing the novel I started as my master's thesis ("The Sound Of Silence"). --<>-- I've also composed music. Some just sketches and some very complex and professional sounding songs (not just my opinion.) --<>-- I've also created various types of art (especially at university, in an un-declared minor in art and design.) --<>-- But, so far, I've just been running circles around myself.--<>--
Favorite movies--<>-- The Lost Boys, Jacob's Ladder, Låt den rätte komma in, The Ruling Class, Man Hunter, --<>-- 5 honorable mentions: --<>-- A Nightmare on Elm St., Stalker (Сталкер), Escape From N.Y., The Keep, The Empire Strikes Back --<>--
Favorite music--<>-- Top 5-- --<>-- The Tear Garden: Tired Eyes Slowly Burning, Tones On Tail: Pop, Skinny Puppy: Bites, The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper, Tangerine Dream: Exit, --<>-- 5 honorable mentions: --<>-- Front 242: Geography, Front Line Assembly: Tactical Neural Implant, Led Zeppelin: IV, Coil: Horse Rotorvator, The Motion Picture Soundtrack: Escape From N.Y. by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth --<>--
