| Introduction | My name is Jennifer and I am a 25 year old single mom to two closely spaced toddlers. I really enjoy cooking and creating original recipes, and that's why I started this blog. You'll see some interesting new recipes and some humor from the comical situations that can arise when mama tries to act like a gourmet with two toddlers running around. My whole approach to food is that cooking from scratch with ingredients that are as close to their natural forms as possible is always best. It doesn't take much longer, it usually costs less, and it is definitely healthier. Also, I really think that you can take more pride in the finished product when you did it all yourself than you would if you used a lot of prepared, processed foods. Behind every pre-made convenience item in the supermarket, there is a short list of real ingredients and an easy preparation. I'm here to tell you both of those things, and show you how easy and satisfying it is to just do it yourself. |
