| Introduction | Hi. I'm Armelle from Southern Ontario. I love to decorate my home, garden, sew and paint in watercolor. I also love anything vintage- from home decor to jewelery and clothing. And I love the color blue- thus the title of this Blog. I also love muted sage green and antique white. My entire house is decorated in these colors. I'm married with no children , and live in a post-war fieldstone bungalow. I'm currently a stay at home wife, so I have lots of time on my hands, and have been keeping busy with many projects around the house. I hope you'll join me in my journey into creating the home of my dreams, with a limited budget. I've challenged myself to redecorate my home with vintage and re-designed pieces found at thrift stores, flea markets and cast offs. If I don't find what I want- I design and make it myself. If I love an item from a store, but don't want to pay the price- I find a way to make a similar item from items I already own. Being temporarily un-employed has promted me to be thrifty, but I still love having new and beautiful things. I hope you'll be inspired by what I've already created, and what I will continue to create. |
