| Introduction | What on earth....? oh well alright then. If I ever manage to beat my monumental procrastination I suppose I would describe this as an attempt to make sense of a very confusing world. For instance, how can we have water shortages on a planet that is two thirds water? Why are people homeless? Have we run out of bricks? Is it, in fact, a 'rum old do' and why do people keep asking Paul McCartney to be on the television when he is such a fucking twat? |

| Favorite movies | This is a ridiculous section so I'll just quote my friend Phil: "There are 100 movies in my top 3". Couldn't have put it more succinctly myself. At the moment it's 'Drive' (surely a modern masterpiece), 'The Guard' and 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy'. But it's also 'Bande Apart', 'Gone With the Wind' and 'Double Indemnity'. Sam Peckinpah on form is the greatest dead director, Scorcese the greatest alive and the first two Godfather movies are set texts. I may change my mind tomorrow though :-! |
| Favorite music | Oh I don't know! Alabama 3. The B52's. Lots of roots reggae. That thing from 'Reqiuem for a Dream'; and 'Eyes Wide Shut'. I know that's not music but it's got good music in it. |
| Favorite books | Um. Look, at the moment I'm reading James M Cain, Guy De Maupassant and Susan Howatch. Not all at the same time. Obviously. I also like Jim Thompson though he would probably creep most people out. |
