Introduction Jordan’s View began as an experiment, but now has become a ministry. I’m writing to engage readers with truths found in the Christian gospel, and to provide spiritual growth resources... I have a BA in English Literature, and enjoy writing, of course; I’m also a singer/songwriter... My ambition is to support myself fully through a combination of ministry, writing and music, but right now have a regular “day” job to pay the bills. So this blog serves as an outlet for creative/intellectual exploration. As I grapple with my own faith and learn from others on their faith journey, I hope to pass on whatever wisdom I gain along to my readers... This blog can be serious, but I am really quite silly in person. So hopefully you’ll find my attempts at humor funny (if not, a pox on you!, ha ha, just kidding)…I’m married to a gracious, pretty lady who helps me remember that God is very, very good and gracious and loves me a lot more than I can fathom. He's working out a plan in my life that somehow is woven together with all the other plans he's working out in the lives of countless others--and His plan is a marvelous one.
Interests Independent music, Christian theology, singer/songwriters, songwriting, musing on American culture, movies, acting, actors, and maybe a few more things too, I hope.

You've broken up with your old band and are about to release your first solo album. Please write the liner notes:

Alex Jordan's first solo album reflects his main influences (Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel), especially in his knack for melody and interesting chords. Jordan writes Christian songs but his music belongs more to the singer-songwriter genre than to CCM. Now of a reformed theological persuasion, his old group, The Flaming Pentecostal Army Band, wishes him all the best.
