Introduction | I have a cherished husband, Brian, who is a remodeling contractor. Together we have raised three great kids, Brad, Maggie and Kyle. We are also licensed foster parents. Currently I am working as a pediatric nurse practitioner at a private practice in Glenview with Walter Campbell, MD. I also teach graduate classes in the pediatric nurse practitioner program at University of Illnois in Chicago. One day a week I work with girls grades 6-12 at Josephinum Academy in Chicago. In 2008, together with 9 dynamic women, we developed a non-profit organization, Little by Little, in order to continue our work with the extremely impoverished and medically needy poor of Haiti. |
Interests | Family, friends and all children, with my faith being the center of all I love and all I do. |
Favorite Books | I love so many books I could not pick a favorite. I enjoy them even more with our book club group. Two wonderful books that will help with understanding the needs of Haiti would be "Mountains beyond Mountains" By Tracey Kidder, and "Brother I'm Dying", by Eldrige Danticat |
