About me

Introduction	We are a Toledo, Ohio based organization committed to creating a free and sustainable world. Formed in the wake of the historic October 15th Uprising, we work to address a broad range of issues, with a special focus on local, grassroots projects. We are dedicated to the principles of freedom and equality, and our group structure reflects this, with each member equally involved in all decision making and planning, in an open, non-hierarchical setting. All who wish to live in a world free of injustice and inequality are welcome to join us and share their views and ideas. Since our formation in 2005 we have been actively involved in causes ranging from environmentalism to gender equality to opposing unjust wars and fighting racism and state repression. We have connected with many other groups and programs, including Food Not Bombs, Anti-Racist Action, and the Midwest Action Network, a regional network of similar grassroots organizations.
