| Introduction | Having come from an Art and Design background I have always had an interest in the creative arts. I have decided to set myself the challenge of completing a gold arts award, focusing on some of my desires and interests within the creative industries. Areas such as Fashion enterprise, illustration and garment production will be some of my main focuses. Being from the North East I am keen to explore some of the design industries that are local to me and discover what the North East has to offer! My aim is not only to sucessfuly complete this award but to learn new skills, meet new artists and create a collection based on my inspiration from this whole experience!
