| Introduction | We have downsized from a too-big Hill Country farmhouse on 23 acres of property to a more manageable home on two acres in a small Texas town. Our home is just perfect for myself and my husband, a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees dog named Savannah, a Schnauzer/Lhasa Apso dog named Benjamin, and our cat Julius. I try to always remember the favorite saying of a remarkable woman named Audrey: "No matter what happens in this world, life goes on in a sensible way." I have very little patience with hateful people. I wish that everyone in this world would realize that we must share just this one planet... and our greatest resources on this unique Earth are the children. Be kind to your pets, hug your children, have patience with yourself. For blogs, and for everything else in life, there is a great saying: "For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who do not understand, no explanation will suffice." |
