| Introduction | Thomas Schinkel is the founder and managing partner of Thomas Schinkel and Associates. Mr. Schinkel has been an international business consultant for over fifteen years. In this capacity he has assisted American and European companies in positioning their companies' activities in a wide variety of cross-border situations. Since 1987, he has worked with clients on issues of innovation and new business development in nternational markets. He has extensive experience with new channels of distribution, and he has provided hands-on support to senior distribution industry executives in their search for opportunities in global markets. He received the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Netherlands (1971), and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University (1974). Prior to coming to the USA in 1972, Mr. Schinkel served six years as associate director of the Dutch Wholesalers Association in the Hague, the Netherlands. He is a naturalized citizen of the USA. |
