| Introduction | I am an educator. Teaching and learning are the truest expression of "right livelihood" for me, and I am grateful every day being paid to do them. I have a long list of interests, too, that I value because they center around the two things I enjoy most—discovery and sharing, not necessarily because I’m good at them. I’m not intimidating on purpose. I just have a strong and clear sense of who I am and why I’m here. It’s the most wonderful feeling to have, and I feel like everyone deserves it. I’m not complex. I’m easy to read and I don’t have the time or the patience for personality games. I like to dig deep into the serious things, but I’m not afraid to do so with a spoon stuck on my nose. My life is both mundane and spectacular, and no, that’s not a paradox. I have rules. I like rules. Rules are good. Rules are also made to be broken, when appropriate. I swear, mostly for effect. I say “F***!!” sometimes just because it feels good, but I don’t use the word “stupid”. I appreciate the mystery of the universe, and I do not want to know how it all works. Frankly, it’s nice to be surprised. |
