| Introduction | I'm a 31 year old writer, researcher and analyst of international affairs born and raised in the Washington, DC area who has also lived in Maine, London, Berlin, Hamburg, upstate New York, Bologna, and Brussels, and has traveled in 36 countries. I currently serve as the Program Officer at the Transatlantic Academy at the German Marshall Fund of the United States (opinions expressed here are my own), while I have worked in the past at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, SOS International LLC, and the Center for European Policy Analysis. I am a proud alumni of Bowdoin College, the Fulbright program, and Johns Hopkins University's Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
