| Introduction | Lauren Frost is a 16-year-old junior from Montgomery Blair High School. She has lived in Maryland her whole life, and has attended Montgomery County schools. She really enjoys English as history, and opened the door for her to attend her current high school as part of the communication arts program. She has played two varsity sports since her freshman year. During the fall season she plays tennis, which she has been playing since she was 8 years old. During the winter she plays basketball for the Blazers, where she held a starting position in her sophomore year. Her favorite team is the Washington Wizards. She recently became part of her school’s online news publication, Silver Chips, and is attending the Young Scholars Program because she wants to become a better and more knowledgeable writer for the newspaper, as well as experiencing the University of Maryland.. She enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music, and also enjoys making movies/ documentaries. One of her coolest accomplishments was when she won the CSPAN student cam documentary contest in the eighth grade then again last year for a documentary on concussions. |
