| Introduction | Konrad, your friendly neighborhood Commissar. I've built model military vehicles as long as I can remember; my first kit was a snaptite B-25 sometime around 1995-6. I have been building and collecting Warhammer 40k for about 10 years now. I started with Ultramarines, go figure, but I only got up to 20 models when I realized what I wanted all along; The Imperial Guard. Those Leman Russ Battle Tanks at the GW were too much to resist. Over about the last 9 years I have built up my 14th Imperial Task Force. More recently, in 2008-2009 I got into BFG with my Imperial Navy Battlefleet Vengeance. After that I started Warmachine with Khador Battlegroup Carnage. I have also started Dust: Warfare with a pair of Axis platoons. I've also got some models for when we play Mordhiem and Infinity. I occasionally attend local tournaments in Rochester, since they do a good job organizing and there’s no place to go around me. It’s definitely worth the drive over there for a day of gaming. |
