Introduction	I began my teaching career in Alief, TX. I taught 6th grade English and Social Studies for two amazing years at J.W. Youngblood Intermediate School. I then taught 5th grade at the American School of Milan in Milan, Italy for three wonderful years. After leaving Italy I made a one year stop at YES Prep Gulfton, an amazing school in the Gulfton neighborhood on Houston, Texas. I worked there as the literacy specialist and the athletic director. Working with my best friend Mr. Schmitz was an honor. After my year back in Houston I made my way for Shanghai Community International School in Shanghai, China where I currently work as the Middle School Vice Principal. My goal is to see all of my former students go to college...and not just any college, the college of their choice!
