Former member of the Steering Committee of the World Movement for Democracy, and of the International Steering Committee of the Community of Democracies. Former Chair of the Latin American and Caribbean Network for Democracy. Columnist at El Tiempo Latino newspaper, and writes op-eds and articles for several newspapers, published several books and he was Co-Editor Nueva Politica Magazine. Over three decades of experience working in the fields of Governance, Civil Society, Nonprofit Management, Networking, Public-Private Partnerships, Human Rights and Democracy in the US and globally. Doctorate in Law/Policy NEU, MA Urbanism/Planning at Tufts University, MS Environmental Law Vermont Law School and Lawyer AB Catholic University.
