| Introduction | At the age of 16 I knew everything there was to know in the world, because I was a fundamentalist Christian. But by the time I reached 20 I'd applied the devilish practices of exper-ience, reason and rules of evidence to my faith, and I watched Christianity crumble like hard cheese. Thus I changed my wicked ways and became a freethinker, a skeptic, an observer of what people believe and a questioner of why they believe it. I've lived both sides of the faith vs. reason argument. Pardon the pun, but I'm a God-damned expert. |
