| Introduction | I have recently awakened from a state of acute unconsciousness, which was brought on by the pandemic of indifference that has afflicted a great many Americans. It is my hope that I can infect others with the same conscientious sense of urgency I now possess. We face, perhaps, the darkest chapter in the history of this Nation. There is an assault on the Liberties we Americans have taken for granted by those whose power has been conferred by the people, but who no longer represent the masses. We must not succumb to the fear by which they mean to rule us; we must, instead, be ruled only by the reasoned intellect of which we all possess. |
