| Introduction | I'm a woman on a mission! I'm passionate about being whom God wants me to be. He gave me two amazing children, Lauren (20) and Josh (18) and the love of my life, Rick. We had our 23rd anniversary this past August! I taught for 12 years, 8 of them in Kindergarten (I loved it!) and am at the moment trying to figure out how to be a stay-at-home mom, who strangely never seems to be at home. Through my children's struggles with neurological and brain disorders I believe that God is calling me on to a different career path. We'll see where that leads me. Things I like: spending time with family and friends, playing with our 3 dogs (we miss you, Lakota!) and 3 cats, reading, singing,writing, watching movies, traveling (especially to my home country of Canada), going to Starbucks, watching my favorite TV shows on DVR (Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory for starters), being a stigma-buster/advocate and laughing a lot! |
