Introduction Simone Guiducci is an italian guitarist and a composer . His folk-jazz project is well represented by the 4 cds with his Gramelot Ensemble : CANTADOR (2000) is the debut album for italian label Felmay (www.felmay.it) performed by the stabile quintet Gramelot Ensemble featuring Achille Succi(clarinet),Roberto Dani (drums),Fausto Beccalossi (accordion) and Salvatore Maiore (double bass); CHORALE (2002) has an international slant, with Guiducci further exploring his flair for roots-music but with guest appearances by the trumpeter Ralph Alessi, the cellist Erik Friedlander,and clarinettist Chris Speed, in addition to the original quintet ; DANCIN’ ROOTS (2004) is recorded by Simone Guiducci “Gramelot” with clarinet player Don Byron , trumpeter Ralph Alessi and pianist Andy Milne. Simone Guiducci's new release with Gramelot from october 2006 : STORIE DI FIUME is the title of the new cd.
