| Introduction | The Land Stewardship Program (LANDS) is a unique partnership between the University of Vermont and the Student Conservation Association (SCA). LANDS is a new model of corps - A College Sustainability Corps. Crew members take on complex land stewardship and management projects for land agencies. Interns use their conservation know-how, while also taking time to get their hands dirty like traditional corps. LANDS crew members are upper level undergraduates or recent college grads in conservation related fields and come from across the nation. They share a passion to make a difference on the land and in the community. |
