| Introduction | Julie Greenman grew up in the western and mid-western states from California to Nebraska and Kansas to Utah. She is grateful to her father for instilling a love for backpacking, exploring, and reading good books. To her mother, she owes deep gratitude for teaching her to love all people and serve others. She is married to her best friend, and they have six children and 13 grandchildren. She has homeschooled some of her children and has had much experience learning what helps a child desire to self-educate. Julie is passionate about reading the classics and discovering new ideas and connections. She has mentored mothers, headed up a charter committee for a classical curriculum, and found that the best learning is when a student takes his education into his hands while mentored and guided. In the past few years, Julie has directed youth in a high school-age program using a classical curriculum in a colloquial-type setting. She has thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow and learn in ways that only a Great Education founded on truths can inspire. She is excited to share her knowledge with high-school-age students and adults as each student discovers Great Ideas for themselves. |
