Introduction is the title of Irfan Yusuf's book, the story of how a young man who grew up in a middle class Sydney suburb took up radical Islam and at age 16 decided he might join the jihad in Afghanistan. It all sounds terribly serious and quite frightening. But in fact it's an extremely irreverent and hilarious account of cultural cultural confusions, community politics and outright mischief making.
