| Introduction | The name of this blog is from a song by the Band "America" and one of their songs "Sister Golden Hair". Growing up I remember hearing this song on our yearly family road trips and this song is a favorite. I probably should have been born in the 70's. I started this blog to write about travel in 2012. It has stories from a summer in Spain as a nanny, backpacking trip through Europe, a semester abroad in Jerusalem, other various excursions, and now the stories of my husband and I living in the Dominican Republic.
