About me

Introduction As a recently relocated, New York City-based health writer and editor (and self-proclaimed health nut), I’m determined to keep up a good-for-me lifestyle. I love to cook, grocery shop, and eat out. Nothing starts my day better than an early run along the Hudson... followed by a steaming cup of coffee. A post-work yoga class proves the best stress-buster I can find. I would never turn down the chance to see a friend. And, I’m still adjusting to the “real world” of rent checks, cable repairs, and entry-level job woes. Meanwhile, work has me pouring through research about what’s good for our bodies and what’s not. My conclusion? Stay smart to stay healthy. Everyday doctors, trainers, nutritionists, and scientists find new (and better) ways to take care of our bodies. And the more stay-healthy options we have—from nutritious cuisine to intriguing workouts to calming habits—the easier they fit any lifestyle. So, I’m sharing the most interesting news I’ve heard, along with a few (noted) opinions about making it fit the lifestyle of working young single, on a budget and out for a good time.
