| Introduction | In the life-long task of trying to make sense of my own journey to becoming the person I am today, I thought hearing other people's stories would assist in unearthing clues, signs. Much to my utter delight, these conversations lead to more questions. The more I found out about the inner life of my fellow humans, the more I grew to embrace those eccentricities, rebelliousness and passions society can stamp out an an early age. But those pesky characteristics persist, at least in the people I've had the pleasure of talking with in this ongoing expirment called life. The seeds of creativity, exploration, and discovery are always present, ready to sprout, accessible if you only allow room for it. The folks I have come to know and those who will be highlighted here show that the path is not only NOT paved, but there are more than two forks in the road. There are as many forks as you care to take. Or pave yourself. |
