| Introduction | At age 43 I was diagnosed with stage 1A breast cancer. It was on September 17, 2008, that I received the news that would change me whether I wanted it to or not! The next week I had a lumpectomy followed by chemo, and radiation. Early detection through an ultrasound is why my cancer was found so early. Cancer knows no boundaries! Women, know your body and tell your doctor if you think or 'feel' that something isn't right! |
