| Introduction | Tom picked up the sax in and began learning his craft in middle school. Moving on to high school, Tom performed in the WCHS Marching Show Band from 1984 to 1988, winning state two years in a row, in 86’ and 87’. Four years in the WCHS Jazz Band, playing tenor and baritone sax. He enjoyed performing in front of a live audience, then went on to live broadcast radio. In 1993 he became a DJ. Landing a weekend stint for a classic rock radio station K96.1, reformatted to become HOT COUNTRY, KICKS96. Produced The All Request Hot Country Party. In 95’ he became the DJ in the afternoon for WZZY 98.3.. After high school it took two years before he would pick up the sax again. Using his talents allowed him to cut his first CD “A Little Sax Tonight”, His second CD “Love Songs” was recorded as a tribute to his wife, Tracy, filled with her favorite music from the 70’s and 80’s. Tom has played for Chambers of Commerce, Art Associations and private parties. Also leading praise and worship in four local churches. Now he’s playing in Florida. |
