| Introduction | Each of us starts with a very big flat rock at the bottom of a very steep hill. Some call this our dreams, others a product or idea, for many it’s a relationship with a person, or God. I equate it this pushing a big square rock uphill. How we get these square rock’s up the hill is one of the most difficult yet challenging adventures we can ever face. When someone calls me a risk taker, an Entrepreneur, or a wild and crazy guy, it is a very sterile way of saying I am one who is energized by pushing square rocks up hill. Over the years I have achieved great success, experienced total failure in all of the three pillars of my life, my career, my family, and my quest to know God. Yet each day I continue to look for what others see as big ugly square rocks. Sometimes the quotes of others who have faced their own square rocks can speak to me and capture the essence some of the most powerful concepts that we tend to ignore in life.
