Introduction	We are the Wallenpaupack Area High School InvenTeam. After competing in the Ability One engineering competition we had LemelsonMIT Inventeams reccomended to us. InvenTeams are teams of high school students, teachers, and mentors that receive grants up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions to real-world problems. Each InvenTeam chooses its own problem to solve. And so, we met throughout the summer to decide on what our invention would be. Afters months of hard work we put together the invention plan for our wave powered electric generator. September rolled around and we sent in our application. Within the month we got the confirmation that would be receiving that grant. This blog is dedicated to documenting our progress from that point on as we look forward to attending the Eurakafest at MIT this coming June.
