| Introduction | I wasn't one of those kids that spent their days doodling in their notebooks and creating cartoons on every scrap piece of paper they could find. I discovered my passion for artwork later in life when I wanted to find an activity for my young girls and I to do together. So we started to paint ceramics together. After a few sessions they grew tired of it but I continued and slowly added to my repertoire with tole painting and acrylics. Once I moved to Alberta, I wanted to expand further so I searched for an art teacher that would teach me how to paint in oils. That's when I found Laura. She is an amazing art teacher and has shown me a whole new world of colors, techniques, history, composition, marketing and so much more. Because of Laura I have discovered my "Hidden Talent"! |
