| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! I am middle school band teacher who is taking a break from the classroom for year to pursue her doctoral degree in music education at Arizona State University. This blog is a tool for discussion, so please feel free to share what activities you have done in your rooms that engage learners! My undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and I hold a Masters in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to teaching, I enjoy performing with the Encore Wind Ensemble and Caprice Saxophone Quartet. When I am not "musicing" you can find me in the kitchen cooking up new vegetarian recipes or attempting my hand at homemade products. |
