| Introduction | my name is Wendy Dondolo. I grew up in Bamboe village in Sterkspruit, located in the Eastern Cape, under the care of my grandmother. From 2008 to 2015, I attended Bamboespruit primary school before moving to Gauteng to enroll in Vosloorus comprehensive secondary school, where I completed my high school education in 2020. I took a gap year after after matric because I was unsure of what I wanted to study in university. However, in 2021, I researched journalism and decided that it was the perfect career for me. I applied to Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), where I began my journalism studies in 2022. My passion for journalism is broad, but I am particularly interested in current events and trending stories that are creating a buzz on social media and beyond. I am always on the lookout for the next big story, whether it's breaking news, viral videos, or celebrity gossip. |
