| Introduction | I can be moody, outrageous, quiet and melancholy. I am a whole person who feels intensely. Sometimes I wonder if I would be more suited to being born in the 17th century. I often have that feeling when I'm tending my garden on an overcast day; I transport back there in my mind and imagine I am planting the food that will sustain me while smoke twirls out of the chimney of the little shack I live in - just me and my cat. I am always in the front garden, never in the back. There is a rickety wooden fence and passersby know me well enough to never open the gate...they always wait for an invite. The only one who realises there will never be an invite is the Baba Yaga. |
