Introduction	I started my teaching profession as a response from a deep need that I had to serve to my community and its children. Slowly I discovered that being a teacher is a vocation. Teaching to me, is aiding in the child’s development, both at the cognitive and emotional levels. It’s giving the children the tools and opportunity to build their own learning to succeed academically (Jean Piaget suggested that “through processes of accommodation and assimilation, individuals construct new knowledge from their experiences” Miss Lupita Castillo John F.
