Introduction	I'm a writer writing about writing while looking to make it in the writing business. (Note: Need a good editor. Anyone?). Married, mom to two young sons, author of a bunch of Chicago guidebooks and YES, Dummies books. Which begs the eternal question: If I write for Dummies, what does that make me?
Interests	Travel. Style. Stylish travel. Currently facing unhealthy obsession with French bistros and Cordon Bleu cooking. Architecture. And until I can travel more, reading, reading, reading.
Favorite books	Reading: In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan (expelling all boxes of food containing scrumptious hydromonosodiumglutanate from my pantry as a result). Just read: Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Result: Made the decision to start blogging in a flash without overthinking or actually considering potential myriad of consequences(miracle for introverted overthinking writer who believes the underthought decision is not worth making). On deck: Julie and Julia. Snuck a peek and must say, not thrilled. But concept is spectacular. One good idea, people. One good idea. (Just like for Dummies. To tie in the theme here).
