Introduction	I have been a serious eater since I was a child--over fifty years ago. I have fond memories of going to the best restaurants in New York City with my parents. For the past 20 years, I have lived in Paris but even before that, I had the fortunate experience of being able to dine in the greatest places in France. I have a large collection of menus and over 50 food diaries which track my restaurant forays over the years. For many years, I dined alone and, as a result, not only learned a tremendous amount about cuisine, but also met many of the chefs who served me. My favorite past time is dining out, and I intend to devote my blog to my restaurant experiences. I travel quite a bit so you will be privy to my visits to dining spots all over the world.
