Introduction	I was born in Adelaide on March 14th 1962 which happened to be the same day my twin brother Paul was born. If that wasn't coincidence enough, we both have an older brother called Jack who is 16 months older than us. After lots of traveling, moving locations I finally settled down in Melbourne and studied to become a software engineer. For the last 9 years and until recently I have been working for MYOB leading the SME development team. In August 2006 my company sent me to the Apple Developers conference in San Francisco where I met Patrick and 5 months later he moved to Melbourne to be with me. As we both really wanted a family we started doing the IVF program. Unfortunately this was brought to a holt when I was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a cancer caused by contact with asbestos 3 or 4 decades prior. I am now living with cancer but remain optimistic. This blog is to let my family and friends keep up to date with my progress. UPDATE: That was written in 2007. Since then I have gone into remission, fallen pregnant and had a beautiful baby girl. UPDATE: Nov. 2010 - Back doing chemo again.
